-- peter trinh (dayuse aka yuipeter [peter t.]) : artist, co-writer, creator I've always wanted to approach comic art in one form or another since I was a kid. I love to learn in more ways than one, and illustration and writing have been the best ways for me to express what I've gained from learning. I love many forms of visual media, from films to comics to cartoons. "- heritage police -" as an example is influenced by many personal things, such as my life experiences, my enjoyment of cartoons (both Western and Eastern), and one of my favourite films of all time, Garden State. This little experiment, along with my good buddy, Ryan, is a step of exploration, worldly image, and all around just-for-fun-ness. I hope you guys will enjoy this small coming-of-age tale. -- ryan duffield (telefrancais): editor, co-writer, stronger expert of wit than Peter is I'm really glad that Peter asked me to come along for the ride on this one. I'm also glad that he has loads of artistic talent, because I have absolutely none. However, not being able to draw does not mean that I am completely useless! I do have loads of amazing qualities. Here is an example: Most of the time, I am extremely vague. Some may say this is definitely NOT an amazing quality, but I disagree! A teacher told me recently that I write "simply". Not that it comes easy to me, just that I write in a simple way. She said that this was a rare trait, and that I probably don't realize how rare it is. Think about it this way: Hemingway made a career out of writing "simply". I certainly think that this could come as a good thing. Anyway, I think Peter and I can take "- heritage police -" to the extreme! |
