Premise: Cedric Tuyen goes home.

Belonging to a pretty wealthy family, Cedric was able to attend the Academy of Art in San Fransisco and graduate. Since he has nowhere to go at the moment, his family helps to fly him back to his home in Hamilton, a somewhat run-down, urban city in Southern Ontario. Throughout all of his life, he realises that with people such as his family and relatives, he’s had problems blending in with other Vietnamese people. His experiences as a loner at a young age made him grow with interests and dislikes different from his race. As he heads home, Cedric plans to go on a personal journey of self-discovery and identity. His old high school friends join to help him understand if he is or is not crazy to do such an analysis, as well as help themselves understand if race and heritage is important enough to make people different.
